Me and Matt have been on some mega road trips........ the most drastic and shocking was probably the trip to New Orleans the day after Katrina struck........ I flew into Atlanta and we drove down to the Katrina zone together........ but we have zapped around a fair bit in the South and done some trips out of New York too.........this is Matt in a McDonalds car park somewhere in what feels like the middle of nowhere close to the border between GA and FL ........ On a trip down to Florida from Atlanta that also took in Alabama Mississippi and Tennessee....... and also involved some twisters if I am right? We always seem to be buzzing up to North and South Carolina out of Atlanta....... I've driven to West Virginia a couple of times from DC. I have driven the whole length of the West Coast in one trip and on another occasion I drove extensively in Montana and Wyoming. I've driven to Ohio from NYC then back to DC fairly recently......... yeah mostly we fly...... but sometimes........ especially when we have a pile of kit.... we drive........ tomorrow I am driving back to DC....... I know I've only just left there...... hehehe....... but now I have another shoot in DC........ anyway I need to roll at 4-30AM..... so I've got to hit the sack soon........ from DC I need to drive back up to NYC with a pile of gear that I have currently in a DC storage place....... then from NYC back all the way to Atlanta ......... with a pile of negatives, transparencies and prints for Matt........ cos of all the stuff I need a van....... cant even do it in the beast car...... wheres the fun in that?......... oh well...... so let the road trip season begin.

Yeah.......looking way healthy for a change bro I like the no ciggi look...... hehehe...... I was digging through old drives..... this that trip on which we ended up facing the Chatanuga Twister right?

Since u r still up some Operational stuff for tomorrow/later today:

Matt 2 things baby I need to have some thought as to the closest place to the job to pick up wifi as we r gonna be right against deadline.....

And I need the FTP address and codes for the news ops I only have the features FTP at the mo..... this has been a bit of a problem since I cleaned the hard drive of my laptop hehehe....... sorry

Funnily enough the wifi-ed up cfe u were talking about is also the meeting point...... funny ...... so it could not get closer than that bro..... hehehe.....

Furthest I've ever driven is from London to Scotland. Biggest problem was boredom on motorways then frustration with caravans and tractors! Have you done route 66?

Ive been on route 66......... but i have not done it as such........ route66 can take you accross the whole country..... ive not done that....... I am vaguely thinking of doing it........ the UK equivilant would be to drive from end to end of the A1....... the Great North Road........ Ive done that drive to Scotland two or three times on the motorways....... it gets dull on the motorways M1 M6 etc thats for sure...... the interstate roads can get u in the same way...... especially those that require you to drive at 55mph......aggggghhhhhh.......... that does my brains in....... I like road trips but aspects of them are really dull especially if you are in Virginia with their stupid driving laws...... there is no getting away from it ...its best to stay out of Virginia...... hehehehe!!!!!

Nice one..Matt dont need the ciggie to look like Slash now, he`s way cooler than him! Do you collect Green Shield stamps on your road trips, mate? (showing my age me thinks)

Green shield stamps???....... hehehe....... my folks used to have books of them...... u r right bro they came from gas stations...... hehehe...... nice one baby...... I've not thought about them just for ever....... Green Shield Stamps.....???? good one Paul :-)) My fave Gas stations are WaWa's (not a feature of the UK)...... I don't collect points or anything...... but I like to marvel at 35 types of hot coffee they serve...... but what ever happens do not be tempted to stray from the righteous path of real coffee..... some of the weird things they have in coffee here are just totally vile...... :-))

Epic Joey would require a trip to Australia or MJ to catch a reflection of himself in the shiney surface of the house of the future or perhaps most likely JC to leave off the safety and turn the camera on himself in a moment of sheer madness........???
